3rd Annual Women's Leadership Symposium to be Virtual

OUCAN’s third annual Women’s Leadership Symposium: When We Lead will be held virtually this year on March 14 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This year’s one-day event explores the power of self-reimagination, self-advocacy and self-empowerment. Women leaders, through open conversation, will build professional skills and celebrate workplace champions.

“We’re excited to feature an outstanding roster of workshop presenters covering topics ranging from entrepreneurship and building wealth to mentorship and providing a career pipeline opportunities for girls and women to succeed,” said OUCAN CEO Yvonne Cherell.

Registration is now open for this event by clicking here. Employees of OUCAN member agencies can register for $75. For non-members, the fee is $100.

Following an opening discussion led by Cherell, a keynote address will be delivered After lunch on your own, a panel of women leaders will share how they lead authentically with intention and grace.

Later in the afternoon, participants can choose from three breakout sessions:

·         Self-Empowerment: The Future of Working with Multi-Generations, Wisdom from Millennials and Gen Z Professionals.

·         Self-Advocacy Matters: Unpacking Your Leadership Skills in the Workplace

·         Self-Reimagination: Redesigning Your Workspace and Workplace Passion

The event will conclude with a casual relaxing tea-time discussion at 4 p.m. Participants will receive their tea time kit in the mail prior to the symposium.
