Anti-Poverty Summit
OURS will host its annual Anti-Poverty Summit virtually on Friday, Sept. 17 beginning at 10 a.m. and registration is now open.
The free event will focus on five key areas in which challenges continue as Ohio emerges from the COVID-19 crisis, said OURS Executive Director Yvonne Cherell.
“We want to take control of the conversation about what happens next in Ohio,” she said. “We want to provide timely and accurate information to all Ohioans, especially those who work in the anti-poverty organizations we are most closely connected to.”
The five areas are: housing, healthcare/Medicaid, criminal justice reform, child care and the digital divide.
