OUCAN is the place for Ohio's urban community action agencies to learn, connect, advocate, and collectively break the cycle of poverty in our communities.

MISSION
Our mission is to empower Ohio’s urban Community Action Agencies through education, networking, and advocating for policies that alleviate poverty and promote self-sufficiency.

ABOUT US
Ohio Urban Community Action Network (OUCAN) has been a voice for Ohio’s urban communities since 1985. Representing 56% of the state’s low-income population, our network of ten Community Action Agencies works to reduce poverty, eliminate food insecurity, expand access to housing, and help families earn a livable wage. We champion policies that put families first and open doors to self-sufficiency, equity, and lasting change.
